Wahaura Kōpito Print
Waharua Kōpito Print
The Waharua Kōpito Print draws from the symbolism of self-determination and collective strength. The two mouths, positioned alongside the niho (teeth), speak to the dual relationships we hold, with others and with ourselves. It’s a visual reminder of how communication, identity, and connection shape who we are.
The detailed line work and notched patterning reference tāngata (the people) empowered through unity. This design echoes the powerful kupu of Kīngi Tāwhiao:
“Ki te kotahi te kākaho ka whati, ki te kāpuia e kore e whati.”
Alone we can be broken. Standing together we are invincible.
Printed on 160gsm card, ready for framing or gifting, and perfect for adding a touch of Māori artistry and thoughtful design to your surroundings. Frame is not included.
