Taimana Earrings – Silver
Taimana means diamond, and this design is a contemporary expression of the Waharua Kōpito pattern. A symbol of self-determination, unity, and the strength found in our relationships with others and with ourselves. When placed alongside the niho (teeth), the two mouths represent connection, resilience, and collective empowerment. The line work and notches speak to tāngata, the people, standing strong together.
Guided by the timeless kōrero of Kīngi Tāwhiao:
“Ki te kotahi te kākaho ka whati, ki te kāpuia e kore e whati.”
