Our new range is called KĀKAHU TOITŪ. This range is made in Aotearoa (spun, crafted, sewn). The fibre itself is Aotearoa inspired, utilizing Merino and Brushtail Possum. The Brushtail Possum , whose population has reached staggering proportions, are an introduced pest that decimates our native flora and fauna. Wearing environmentally friendly Possum knitwear gives you the opportunity to help with our fight to preserve New Zealand's fragile ecosystems.
The pattern throughout the range is called Aronui, a variation of a traditional Taniko border - representing the pursuit of knowledge about the natural world.
Fabric: 60% Merino Wool, 30% Possum, 10% Mulberry Silk
Care: Gentle cool hand wash, dry flat. Do not iron or tumble dry.
