The incredible thing about puka pēpi is that Tūhono Design included some uniquely Māori sections such as whakapapa - lineage, whenua ki te whenua - returning your placenta to the earth, my first Matariki and Waitangi, visit to the marae, moana and more. We have two styles available.
Puhoro - White and gold book with puhoro designs inside. This design represents the ocean, rivers and waterways. The flow of life and interconnectedness and balance of the natural environment.
Poutama - Black and silver book with poutama designs inside. This design symbolises levels of attainment and advancement and the growth of a person, striving to elevate in their life.
